Film-maker, writer, crafts person, crafty-woman and cultural commentator. Mia's creative impulses have manifested themselves in many creepy and disturbing ways over the last few years - most notably for Mercy in the Strange Proportions series she did for us between 2003-2010, pulling appart and reconstituting mythologies, pun and off-the-wall mental associations to typically brilliant comic effect.

Since then, Mia has gone on to scripts and direct her own short-films, and she is currently developing a new absurdist sitcom concept with Liverpool Everyman.
