As you probably know, Beacons Festival is fast approaching (12th-14th August) and is well on it’s way to selling out. You probably don’t know that we’re performing our new Live Writing project there across the weekend. Since June we’ve been working with a team of 12 interns to programme a year of projects, that will help them to develop as creative professionals. We’ve given them budget to create their own projects, are helping them set up their own studio, finding them paying commissions and will be delivering a series of professional development lectures More

We’d heard about Milo before we even dreamed up the internship and were really chuffed that he decided to apply for the programme. We were even chuffeder when we received his hand bound portfolio which contained a brilliant variety of graphic and illustrative work. He also tells beautiful stories about growing up on a farm and smuggling his grandfather’s honey. We like that in a co-worker. More
