New in the office this week is this weighty tome that we've been working on for the last 9 months.
Written by Pedlars head honchos Charlie and Caroline Gladstone, the book is a fun and informative guide to family living in the Great British Countryside, and is chock full of useful recipes, how-tos, recommendations and other leafy titbits.
It has been an absolute pleasure to work on this job with the good people at Random House's Square Peg arm, Charlie and Caroline and also co-author Kate Burt – plus Matt Blease and Tim Winter who were responsible for the glorious illustrations and photography dotted about the insides. Special mention also to the very talented Tom Saxby who devised the book jacket while working a part of the Mercy team earlier in the year. Look him up.
The book will be published this August, and all bias aside it really is a fantastic read.
