What we are up to

Keep The Lights On

Hello, it'll be rather quiet on the blog over Easter what with bank holidays galore and the distraction, probably drunken, they inevitably inspire. But it would be remiss of me not to mention that our pals Wave Machines have made one of the songs from their debut album, Wave If You're Really There, available to download for free. Here's a snippet piped, with a bit of server trickery, direct from the band's MySpace:

'KEEP THE LIGHTS ON'
WAVE MACHINES

ORDER NOW FROM ROUGH TRADE

You can download the full song from the band's new website. Those of you who prefer vinyl over mere bits and bytes will notice the song is also coming out on 7", available by mail order from Apr 20, and from all good record shops from Apr 27. Überfans can get their hands on a so-hot-off-the-press-it's-scalding advance copy, however, when the band play Rough Trade East, London, on Apr 18!
